Hi there! This blog post is going to be a compilation of all the times that the Lord has brought (and will continue to bring) Sister Chiara Madonna, also known as my sister-sister, and I together. So be sure to check back as the year progresses and more opportunities arise!

September 19 – Walking in Manhattan
I actually got to see her twice that weekend, one the night before and the second time while I was meeting with this Dominican priest! The Sisters had hosted their monthly adoration night on that Saturday, which I was able to say hi and catch up; I mentioned, too, that I would be talking with Father the next day! Then, while walking on 66th street, Father spotted her across the street, coming towards us, and the three of us had a little reunion in the middle of Manhattan! Sister Chiara said, “I prayed to your guardian angel that we would be able to see each other again today! Simply a pure gift 🙂

August 14th – Sisters of Life Concert
The sisters were hosting and performing a concert outside of St. Andrews, and a bunch of the Fellows all went together. Of course, right as we turned the corner to where the concert would be, the first sister I spotted was of course Sister Chiara! It had only been a week since our last encounter, much less emotional too, but nonetheless, I still loved every second! Plus a bunch of my friends got to meet her in person which was a true joy!

August 8th – St. Vincent Ferrer
You know when the Lord totally catches you off guard with his generosity and classic sneakiness? This was certainly one of those days! Typically, I try to have my Sunday mass planned before I go to bed on Saturday, but this particular Sunday, I hadn’t thought ahead, which led me to last minute deciding to go to St. Vincent Ferrer for noon mass. Not only was it providential that it happened to be the feast of St. Dominic, but MY SISTER WAS THERE. After walking in an spotting a sister of life, I turned around to see my sister walking towards me in the church! Tears were definitely shed, and I could not help but be stunned by the sheer joy and surprise of her being there. It was the first time I had been able to see her after my initial visits when first arriving to New York, so I knew our paths would cross, I just didn’t know when. As I was thanking the Lord for the goodness that was this moment, the violins began playing before mass (which if you know anything about me, I LOVE VIOLINS) and tears once again streamed down my face.
